Hispanic Chamber of E-Commerce Opens New Chapter in the California Central Coast

The Hispanic Chamber of E-Commerce is proud to announce the opening of its new California Central Coast division.

SAN DIEGO, Calif., Sept. 16, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - Ever since its 2008 inception, the Hispanic Chamber of E-Commerce has worked vigilantly to help Hispanic-owned companies succeed--in particular, small and family-owned businesses, located throughout the United States and zealous to harness the commercial powers of the Internet. The Hispanic Chamber is a business association with a membership that spans the country, and a mission to help Hispanic entrepreneurs become increasingly competitive and successful in today's digital arena. Now, the association is proud to announce the opening of a brand new chapter--the California Central Coast Chamber of E-Commerce.

"There are more than 700,000 Latino-owned businesses in California with the Central Coast a major factor," comments Tayde Aburto, founder of the Hispanic Chamber of E-Commerce. "The Central Coast is laden with a business community that is looking for new opportunities to grow its businesses and to connect with other business owners beyond the immediate networks of contacts. After several conversations with local business leader Jose Huitron, we came to the conclusion that a chapter of the Hispanic Chamber of E-Commerce was a good idea for the region as a whole."

Aburto is enthusiastic about what this new chapter means for the Central Coast business community--and for the Hispanic Chamber of E-Commerce itself. "I'm truly honored and excited to work with Jose Huitron and local leaders to offer businesses on the Central Coast of California the opportunity to learn new and innovative ways to connect, share and grow," he comments. "The California Central Coast Chamber of E-Commerce is going to be very proactive in the community by offering high-value educational seminars and by getting involved in initiatives that can foster the growth and development of the family business sector in the region."

Aburto notes that family-owned businesses make up the core of the region's business community--and the Hispanic Chamber has long focused on outreach to family-owned companies. He also notes that the new chapter's headquarters, in the City of Santa Maria, will enable it to bring together business owners from throughout the six counties of the Central Coast with a major push in Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura county.

Huitron shares Aburto's optimism. "The Hispanic Chamber of E-Commerce brings a novel approach and pool of resources to the area that will prove valuable to the growth of Hispanic business ," he notes. "The rise of technology and growing influence of digital media creates a gap of opportunity for education, awareness, and impact. HISCEC offers a leading suite of tools to help our communities bridge the digital divide and take their businesses online with exciting room for growth."

He concludes, "Working together with established leaders already fostering tangible impact, and a vibrant community of champions and dear colleagues, I look forward to the growth of the Central Coast Hispanic Chamber of E-Commerce. Our goal is to be inclusive of all companies, individuals, organizations, and businesses with an emphasis on the emerging Latino demographic, but where all are welcome to join."
