Skanska to build the new Tahoma High School in Maple Valley, USA, worth USD 89 M, about SEK 750 M


Skanska has signed a contract with its existing client, the Tahoma School
District, to build the new Tahoma High School and Regional Learning Center in
Maple Valley, Washington. The contract is worth USD 89 M, about SEK 750 M, which
will be included in the order bookings for Skanska USA Building in the third
quarter 2015.
The project includes building of new facilities totaling about 30,000 square
meters. The scope of work also includes new athletic fields and gymnasiums.
Skanska will also construct a 600-seat performing arts center.

Construction is under way and the project will be completed in time for the 2017
-18 school year.
