Affecto concludes the personnel negotiations in Finland
Further to announcement of 3 August 2015, Affecto has concluded the statutory personnel negotiations in Affecto Finland Oy and Karttakeskus Oy. The negotiations were initiated as a result of the declining trend in new orders related to traditional IT market and related skills in spite of the growth in business technology area.
As a conclusion of the employee negotiations Affecto will reduce 32 positions, 25 in Affecto Finland Oy and 7 in Karttakeskus Oy in addition to 7 temporary yearly lay-offs in Karttakeskus Oy. Originally, Affecto estimated its labor requirements to reduce by up to 50 employees.
In relation to the conclusion of the employee negotiations Affecto will make restructuring expense provision of approximately EUR 950,000 in Q3/15.
The company continues to invest in new competences to better answer the needs of customers and the new business technology areas.
