NKT Capital Markets Day 2015 focused on strategy

Today, NKT hosts a Capital Markets Day in Copenhagen, Denmark, for institutional investors, financial analysts and media. These subjects will be highlighted:

NKT Holding further sharpening focus on active ownership
In 2013 NKT introduced a revised governance structure aimed at increasing focus on active ownership and accelerating value creation through deeper business involvement by the Board of Directors. To further sharpen the active ownership the Holding company will during autumn 2015 be transformed into a lean executive office focusing purely on this aspect, while the operational functions will be integrated in the business units.

NKT Cables launching EXCELLENCE 2020
At the Capital Markets Day, NKT Cables’ new strategy: EXCELLENCE 2020 will be launched. The strategy features four defined Group must-win battles as key drivers for realising increased efficiency, improved profitability and targeted growth. Achievement of these aspirations, combined with specific initiatives for each product area, underlies a targeted return on capital employed (RoCE) of minimum 15%.

Nilfisk accelerating growth
In Q1 2015, Nilfisk launched the Accelerate 2015-2018 growth strategy. The Accelerate strategy is strongly focused on growing market share and features a number of growth-generating initiatives, including implementation of a Commercial Excellence programme and investments in sales and service. A strategy status will be presented at today's event.

Photonics Group towards commercialisation
Photonics Group's strategy is based on the ambition of providing more complete solutions for end-customers and thereby achieving commercial scale within the core businesses. The new CEO  as well as a strategy status will be presented.
