WILMINGTON, Del., Sept. 29, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- InterDigital, Inc. (NASDAQ:IDCC), a mobile technology research and development company, today announced that Robert H. Riordan has joined the company’s Technical Advisory Council, effective September 15, 2015.
Robert H. Riordan established his telecom career at Northeast Communications of Wisconsin, Inc., dba Nsight, a Wisconsin-based telecommunications provider and parent of Cellcom, a regional cellular company. Prior to his retirement at the end of 2014, Mr. Riordan served as Nsight’s Executive Vice President and Director of Corporate Development for 22 years. Throughout this time, he worked on mergers and acquiring new markets and spectrum, while also dedicating significant time to researching new technologies, including the use of small cells.

In addition, Mr. Riordan continues to serve in an advisory role as Executive Vice President and as a member of the Board of Directors of Nsight.
Formed in 2010, InterDigital’s Technical Advisory Council advises the company’s senior management team on strategic technical priorities and direction, potential new markets and product opportunities.
