Talentum's book business becomes Talentum Pro
As of 1 October 2015, Talentum's Books and Legal Training business unit will be known as Talentum Pro. Talentum Pro provides people who do expert work with services to develop their professional expertise and skill sets. Talentum Pro serves professionals in legal, financial, supervisory and managerial positions.
"In the future, information will be produced, refined and disseminated primarily via digital channels, so the old name of the business unit no longer reflected our current business model. We produce more than just professional books, publications of regulations and training courses: more than one quarter of our net sales come from digital content services," says Veli-Pekka Matilainen, Talentum Pro’s Sales and Marketing Director.

The importance of edited, up-to-date, reliable content is clear in comparison with the enormous amount of information available on the internet. It is our job to work with the top experts in their fields to provide services that are easy to use and always available," says Lasse Rosengren, Talentum's Executive Vice President.
Talentum Pro is a business unit of Talentum. In 2014, Talentum Pro's net sales were EUR 10.4 million and the unit employed 50 people. Talentum Pro's services include Finnish Law, Talentum Fokus and the Online Bookshelf, seminars for the Association of Finnish Lawyers and professional literature.
