Dr Heiko Schäfer completes the Management Board of the TOM TAILOR

Hamburg, 1 October 2015. With the hiring of the Chief Operating Officer,
TOM TAILOR Holding AG has successfully completed the realignment of the
Management Board. Dr Heiko Schäfer (42) will take over this newly created
board position in December 2015. In his function, Dr Heiko Schäfer will be
responsible for the areas of purchasing, logistics and IT as well as the
project and process management. Thereby he will take on a crucial role in
the implementation of the further verticalization of TOM TAILOR GROUP.
Dr Heiko Schäfer has many years of experience in the fashion industry as
well as an in-depth expertise in the management of cross-functional
transformation projects. Mr. Schäfer joins TOM TAILOR GROUP from the
private equity firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) in London, where he was
last employed. Previously Dr Heiko Schäfer worked six and a half years at
senior management level for the adidas Group. There, he was responsible
most recently as Senior Vice President of product development, sourcing and
logistics for the four lifestyle/fashion labels of the umbrella brand
adidas. While working for the adidas Group, Dr Heiko Schäfer was also
responsible for numerous transformational projects, amongst others to
accelerate product development, optimize product costs and the technical
infrastructure.
Dr Heiko Schäfer started his career at the Boston Consulting Group, where
he advised clients for more than six years, mainly from the consumer goods
and retail sector, in sales/marketing and operation topics. Prior to that,
he gathered extensive experience parallel to his academic studies as a
consultant in renowned consulting companies. Dr Heiko Schäfer studied
Business at the University of Saarbrücken and subsequently earned doctorate
degree at the University of Mannheim with Prof. Christian Homburg with a
dissertation on "Cross-Selling".

brand is present in 35 countries.
BONITA operates 1,018 retail stores of which 85 are BONITA men stores.
Currently, the umbrella brand BONITA is exclusively distributed via retail
stores.
Furthermore, the collections of both brands are available over the
respective online stores.
