In connection with Spar Nord’s Board of Directors’ annual evaluation and nomination process, Chairman of the Board, Torben Fristrup, has announced that he has chosen to retire from the Board at the next Annual General Meeting (20 April 2016). At the time, Mr. Fristrup will have served 13 years in the Board of Directors and 12 years as Chairman.
The Board of Directors has accepted Mr. Fristrup’s decision and has unanimously decided to nominate Kjeld Johannesen for election as new Chairman following the Annual General Meeting.
Kjeld Johannesen (b. 1953) has served as the CEO of Danish Crown since 1990. Mr. Johannesen has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2014 and vice-chairman since 2015.
