EVS Appoints a Director of Sales to Capitalise on Momentum in the European Market

Appoints Michael Sharon With Over 20 Years of Sales Experience


CAESAREA, Israel, Oct. 8, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Elbit Vision Systems Ltd. (OTCBB:EVSNF), a pioneer in the science of camera-based automatic vision inspection for textile fabrics and technical webs, announced today that it has appointed Michael Sharon, as Director of Sales in Europe.

Mr. Sharon joined EVS at the beginning of September 2015. Mr. Sharon brings EVS more than 20 years experience and success in customer relations, sales and business development, combining deep technical understanding with strong interpersonal skills. Prior to EVS, he served as Sales Director in TaKaDu and was responsible for their first agreements in Europe. He also served as Sales Director for PerfectoMobile, a telecommunications start-up and was responsible for the company's early European deals with leading mobile operators. He also served as Sales Director at Unipier.

Mr. Sharon spent time in his early career at EVS Europe as VP & General Manager Europe until 2003.
