Skanska to expand New York City Ferry Service Program, worth USD 45 M, about SEK 380 M


Skanska has signed a contract with New York City Economic Development
Corporation to build ten new ferry landings and upgrade three ferry landings as
part of New York City’s new Citywide Ferry Service Program. The contract is
worth USD 45 M, about SEK 380 M, and will be included in the order bookings for
Skanska USA Building for the third quarter of 2015.
Construction will begin in spring 2016 and substantial completion is expected in
summer 2018.
