Advanced Surgical Hospital and Surgical Care Affiliates Form Joint Venture


DEERFIELD, Ill., Oct. 20, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Effective September 1, 2015, Surgical Care Affiliates, Inc. (“SCA”) has partnered with the members of Advanced Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation (“AOR”), a leading group of orthopedic and spine surgeons, to enhance and grow access to high quality surgical care in Southwestern Pennsylvania. In the transaction, SCA acquired an interest in Advanced Surgical Hospital (“Advanced”) in Washington, Pennsylvania, and SCA will provide management support services to the leadership of the hospital.

The physician partners of Advanced will continue to oversee all clinical operations, and Advanced will gain access to a suite of management support services based on SCA’s network of nearly 200 leading surgical facilities across the country.
