LOS ALTOS, Calif., Oct. 22, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- DSP Group®, Inc., (NASDAQ:DSPG), a leading global provider of wireless chipset solutions for converged communications and Swisscom, Switzerland’s leading telecom provider, announced today that DSP Group’s DCX81 DECT/ULE  System-on-a-Chip (SoC) will power Swisscom’s new gateway platform, delivering advanced CAT-iq features to the home.

The highly-integrated and cost-effective DCX81 SoC delivers full home HDVoice quality coverage, with embedded CAT-iq standard compliance that introduces advanced features to DECT cordless telephony including multi-line, multi-handset, phone book sharing and data applications.
