Helsinki, 22.10.2015, at 14:00 - At its meeting on 22.10.2015, the Board of Nordea Funds Ltd has appointed Henrika Vikman as the new managing director of the management company. She will take over as the managing director as of 1.11.2015. Henrika Vikman is currently heading the fund legal team in Nordea.
The managing director of Nordea Funds Ltd is responsible for fund management operations within the Nordea Group in the Nordics.
Through its branch structure, Nordea Funds Ltd manages a total of 220 Nordea funds registered in Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway. Instead of four management companies there is just one company which through its funds has become one of the largest investors in the Nordics in terms of assets under management. Nordea Funds Ltd managed a total of approximately 97 billion euros in June 2015.
The long-serving managing director Jari Kivihuhta will be leaving the management company for the position as managing director of Nordea Finance Finland as of 1.11.2015.
