In the first nine months of 2015, Valmieras stikla šķiedra JSC and its subsidiaries, collectively referred to as Valmiera Glass Group (hereinafter – the Group), have increased the consolidated net turnover by 14%, reaching 99.5 million euros, which is 12.4 million euros more than in the corresponding period last year. As evidenced by the unaudited consolidated financial statements of the Group, the first nine months of this year have also been profitable, reaching a consolidated net profit of 6.65 million euros, which, in turn, is 12% more than in the first three quarters of 2014.
In the first nine months of 2015, Valmieras stikla šķiedra JSC exported its production to 38 countries worldwide, and the volume of export reached 98%. In this period, Valmieras stikla šķiedra JSC continued to strengthen its position on the existing markets and increased turnover. The main product export markets remained the same: the European Union countries (75%) and North America (14%). Sales volume in the first nine months of 2015, as compared to the corresponding period in 2014, have increased in the geographic markets of the European Union (an increase of 13%) as well as North America (an increase of 30%).
