CHICAGO, Nov. 02, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LKQ Corporation invited car and truck enthusiasts to submit photos of their vehicle for a chance to be featured as one of the 14 finalists that will make up the 2016 LKQ Car Calendar. The submission period closed September 25th and generated over 1,400 entries nationwide.
The grand prize winner is David Filipoff of Walnut, California with his 1969 ss396 Chevy Chevelle. He will attend the 2015 SEMA* Show in Las Vegas, Nevada and will be featured on the cover of the 2016 LKQ Car Calendar.
The first place winner is Don Voss of Holland, Michigan who won the random drawing and will also be attending the 2015 SEMA* Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Overall, there were 14 calendar winners who will receive a 2016 LKQ Car Calendar, a limited edition LKQ Car Calendar t-shirt, and a 24” x 36” poster of their entry. All eligible entries will also receive a limited edition LKQ Car Calendar t-shirt and a 2016 LKQ Car Calendar.
