Erickson Welcomes New Vice President of Government Services, Brian Pierson


PORTLAND, Ore., Nov. 04, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Erickson Incorporated (NASDAQ:EAC), a leading global provider of aviation services, is pleased to announce Brian Pierson as Vice President of Government Services. In this role he will lead all worldwide Government Aviation Services functions.

Mr. Pierson has more than three decades of experience in global operations, information technology, manufacturing, strategy and management. Before joining Erickson, Mr. Pierson served as Chief Operating Officer for HireRight the largest pre-employment and drug screening firm.  Prior roles include serving as Senior Vice President of Global Operations and acting head of Research & Development at FEI Company, a NASDAQ-listed technology firm. At FEI he was responsible for the global IT, manufacturing and engineering organizations.

Mr. Pierson started his career in the United States Army as an Officer in a variety of assignments, including various international assignments and deployments. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics (Operations Research) from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, Calif.
