ScrubaDub and Community Servings Expand Partnership to Feed Critically Ill Neighbors


NATICK, MA--(Marketwired - November 10, 2015) - New England's leading car wash company, ScrubaDub Auto Wash Centers, and Community Servings continue to expand their partnership for the 23rd annual Pie in the Sky campaign to provide home-delivered meals to individuals and families battling life-threatening illness.

As part of their annual ScrubaDub Cares Initiative, The Paisner Family owned Car Wash Company is giving away $10 car wash vouchers to anyone who buys a pie, or makes a $5 donation at ScrubaDub locations across New England to support Community Servings. Each pie costs $28, providing a week's worth of meals to one of Community Servings' 1,600 critically ill clients and their families. Over the past 2 years ScrubaDub has contributed over $28,000 to help feed the critically ill and they've donated over $50,000 of in-kind car wash services to their customers who support Community Servings.

Pies can be purchased from ScrubaDub's Pie in the Sky web page: pieinthesky.org/ScrubaDub, until November 21st and Five dollar donations can be made online until November 30th, at ScrubaDub.com, or any ScrubaDub location in MA, RI, NH, or ME. ScrubaDub is also hosting pie pick-up locations the day before Thanksgiving in Brookline, Natick, Woburn and Worcester.

With help from Community Servings, ScrubaDub is educating their staff and customers about the importance of providing nutritional assistance for those who are too sick to cook for themselves or their families. Community Servings delivers 25 different medically appropriate meals that are tailored to the dietary needs of those fighting Cancer, HIV/AIDS, MS and other critical illnesses.
