AKTIA BANK TO BE INCLUDED IN OMX HELSINKI BENCHMARK
Nasdaq Nordic has today announced that Aktia Bank plc A (AKTAV) will, among others, be included in the OMX Helsinki Benchmark index. The new composition of the OMX Helsinki Benchmark index will enter into force on 1 December 2015.
"It's good that Aktia's A series share is included in the OMXHB index. I'm sure, the turnover of our share will increase with the introduction to the portfolios of index investors", says Aktia's CEO Jussi Laitinen.
The OMXHB index comprises a number of the largest shares with highest turnover at Nasdaq Helsinki, representing all ten branch categories. The shares included in the index shall comply with certain criteria, such as minimum turnover.
