CENTROTEC Sustainable AG: CENTROTEC expects subdued second half

Brilon, November 12, 2015: CENTROTEC Sustainable AG, Brilon, achieved a
slight 1.4 % increase in revenue in the third quarter of 2015, taking its
total to EUR 148.4 million (previous year EUR 146.3 million). In the first
three quarters of the current financial year revenue came to EUR 396.9
million, up 1.6 % on the prior-year figure of EUR 390.5 million. EBIT for
the third quarter reached EUR 13.8 million (previous year EUR 14.7
million), and EUR 22.3 million for the first nine months of 2015 (previous
year EUR 20.3 million).
Sound progress for the Gas Flue Systems and Medical Technology &
Engineering Plastics segments was in contrast to occasionally opposing but
overall negative trends in the Climate Systems segment, on aggregate
leading to a weak third-quarter revenue and profit performance from a group
perspective.
It can be assumed that the fundamental development of the third quarter
will continue in the fourth quarter, too. While revenue for the group
should top the prior-year figure, the operating result will lag behind the
previous year's level. The main drivers of the anticipated earnings
performance are the weak state of the market for combined heat and power
units and solar thermal, along with one-off expenditure for organisational
adjustments in the Climate Systems segment. On that basis, CENTROTEC
anticipates revenue of EUR 540 to 545 million for 2015 overall and, as
originally forecast, expects the operating result to be roughly on a par
with the previous year.
