Louis Berger wins $600 million IDIQ contract to support USAID infrastructure projects


MORRISTOWN, N.J., Nov. 12, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Louis Berger recently won a five-year $600 million indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide architecture and engineering (A &E) services for U.S. Agency for International Development's (USAID) infrastructure programs worldwide.

Under the multiple-award contract, work is expected to include infrastructure services, such as engineering design and construction supervision. Louis Berger will support USAID in strengthening transportation infrastructure and vital sectors such as water and energy, while also providing expertise in environmental, vertical structures and telecommunications sectors and technical areas.

The contract also provides for A &E related capacity building and training, as well as broad technical support and advice to host governments and regulatory agencies that are involved in institutional and infrastructure development of their respective countries.
