Essential network services provider, Service Stream, selects IFS Applications 9

Australian provider of essential network services to the telecommunications and
utility industries throughout Australia to replace its enterprise systems with a
single IFS solution including mobile functionality

IFS (http://www4.ifsworld.com/l/5332/2015-08-10/2qts7r), the global enterprise
applications company, today announced that Service
Stream (http://www.servicestream.com.au/), a provider of essential network
services to the Australian telecommunications and utility industries, has chosen
to implement IFS Applications™ 9 (http://www.ifsworld.com/en/solutions/ifs
-applications/ifs-applications-9/) to replace its existing enterprise systems
with a single solution. The agreement for phase one includes over AUD 2 million
in licenses and services.
With implementation commencing in November 2015, Service Stream will replace and
consolidate multiple enterprise information systems with IFS Applications to
promote operational efficiencies in its infrastructure projects and optimize
project execution.

In addition to project management, financials, supply chain management, sales
and service, maintenance, and document management, Service Stream will implement
IFS Mobile Work Order (http://www.ifsworld.com/en/sitecore/media
-library/assets/2014/07/17/09/37/executive-summary-mobile-work-orders-transform
-your-business/) to enable its field service staff to improve productivity and
secure data quality.

Scheduled for completion in 2016, IFS will provide a single platform giving
visibility to company executives and managers into program and project
performance. The ability to provide visibility and management of project
schedules, sub-contractor engagement and execution, materials and inventory,
customer/supplier invoicing, and integration with IFS Financials component were
key considerations in Service Stream’s selection.

“Service providers to essential networks need modern, agile enterprise systems
to optimize project execution in real time,” said IFS Australia and New Zealand
managing director Rob Stummer. “With IFS Mobile Work Order, for example,
employees and sub-contractors can access and update relevant information
immediately.”
