SOLUTIONS 30 gains Hewlett Packard's IT and digital support in Spain and Portugal. Strategy of providing support for major clients in Europe confirmed.

SOLUTIONS 30, Europe's leading provider of solutions for New Technologies, today announced the acquisition of 60% of the capital of Spanish company REXION, historic provider of IT solutions in Spain and Portugal for Hewlett-Packard. The company generates annual revenue of approximately €5 million and will be consolidated as at 29 October 2015.

            This deal was finalised in the context of being awarded Hewlett Packard's IT and digital support business in Spain and Portugal. Two years after acquiring Mixnet, HP's long-standing partner in Italy, the Group's capacity to provide support for key accounts and their European activities is to the fore once again.
             
            This acquisition will create new momentum for SOLUTIONS 30's business in Spain and Portugal and expand its footprint over its limited presence to date in this market. The Group has major ambitions for this large European market to ramp it up to the same level as other countries and reinforce its position as Europe's leading provider of solutions for New Technologies.
             

Commenting on the acquisition, Gianbeppi Fortis, Chairman of the Executive Board of SOLUTIONS 30 said: "Although present in Spain since 2011. Now however, we think the environment is promising and we are investing to capture opportunity on the upturn. The acquisition of this activity for HP will strengthen our overall presence in Spain and the solid outlook for IT and digital support is set to establish this development on a firm footing."
