Elektrėnai, Lithuania, 2015-11-19 08:00 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- “Lietuvos energijos gamyba”, AB (business ID 302648707, registered office address Elektrinės g. 21, Elektrėnai (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Company’) hereby informs that on 18 November 2015 the Company received a notification of resignation of Mr. Dalius Misiūnas, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Company, from the post of a member (chairman) of the Company’s Supervisory Board.
Mr. Misiūnas is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of “Lietuvos energija”, UAB, which owns 96.13 per cent of the Company’s shares. He is resigning from the Company’s Supervisory Board upon approval by the Supervisory Board of “Lietuvos energija”, UAB of his candidacy to the Supervisory Board of AB “Energijos skirstymo operatorius” which will start operation after reorganisation of AB “Lietuvos dujos” and AB LESTO.
Pursuant to the Republic of Lithuania Law on Companies, the last day of Mr. Misiūnas’s term of office in the Company’s Supervisory Board will be 2 December 2015.
Mr. Misiūnas was elected to the Company’s Supervisory Board upon recommendation of “Lietuvos energija”, UAB in the extraordinary general meeting of the Company’s shareholders held on 29 July 2013. He was elected as the Chairman of the Company’s Supervisory Board on 7 August 2013.
The Company will notify of the actions regarding a new member of the Company’s Supervisory Board and election of the chairperson of the Company’s Supervisory Board in accordance with the procedure prescribed by legislation.
