Offering of covered bond series Arion CBI 21 and ARION CBI 29 to be held on 26 November


Arion Bank is holding an offering of ISK-denominated covered bond series Arion CBI 21 and ARION CBI 29 on 26 November. Arion Bank has issued a total ISK 21,900 million in covered bonds this year. The Bank has sold ISK 19,020 million of this total to investors, and bonds with a nominal value of ISK 2,880 million are owned by Arion Bank and have been issued to meet the conditi ons of market making agreements with Landsbankinn hf, Íslandsbanki hf. and Kvika banki hf.

Arion Bank has also updated its issue schedule for 2015 and now expects to issue more than ISK 20 billion in covered bonds to investors in 2015, compared with an earlier estimate of ISK 10-20 billion. 

Arion Bank does not intend to hold any further covered bond issues in 2015.
