Vilkyškių Pieninė will continue to support Žalgiris Kaunas. Launched in 2009, the cooperation between the company and the most titled Lithuanian basketball club has been extended by mutual agreement for another two years.
Gintaras Bertašius, General Director of Vilkyškių Pieninė, is very pleased with the long-term partnership with the strongest Lithuanian basketball club and claims that the successful cooperation just like the decision to further continue it were determined by similar values fostered by both the company and the club.
“Our friendship with Žalgiris Kaunas has continued for seven years now. I think this fact shows that this cooperation was and is important for both parties. I can say that we have grown together with Žalgiris and the club has grown together with us. During the past seven years, Vilkyškių Pieninė has become one of the best known and most popular trademarks in Lithuania, and Žalgiris has further strengthened its position as the strongest and most famous basketball club in Lithuania”, says Gintaras Bertašius.
Paulius Motiejūnas, Director of Žalgiris Kaunas, agrees that the partnership with Vilkyškių Pienine is useful for both the club and the company.

The cooperation between Vilkyškių Pieninė and Žalgiris Kaunas is not limited to financial support provided to the basketball club. The company and the basketball club unite their efforts to implement various social projects, for example, they visit children’s homes and help organise basketball competitions for children.
