Ray Good Joins Cognosante in Strategic Business Development Role


MCLEAN, VA., Nov. 24, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cognosante has announced the hiring of Ray Good as Vice President of Capture Management. Ray, who has more than 20 years' experience in government contracting, will be responsible for all phases of opportunity capture for Cognosante's government health IT bid opportunities.

Over the course of his career, Ray held a number of key positions at SRA International and SCI Consulting. As Vice President of Capture and Proposals for SRA International's Veterans Affairs practice, he led development and implementation of a strategy resulting in revenue growth from $1M to over $60M in less than 3 years. He also served as a strategic acquisition executive, capture advisor, and solution architect working directly with customers such as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the National Institutes of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Health Resources and Services Administration, and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Ray has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from William and Mary and a Master's degree in Computer Science from George Washington University.
