(“Spark”) (Nasdaq:ONCE) announced today the filing of a registration statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission relating to a proposed public offering of shares of its common stock. A portion of the shares to be sold in the offering will be sold by Spark and a portion will be sold by The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (“CHOP”) Foundation. Spark will not receive any proceeds from the shares sold by the CHOP Foundation. The number of shares to be sold and the allocation of the shares between Spark and the CHOP Foundation have not yet been determined.
