Eschborn, December 1st 2015

UET United Electronic Technology AG creates new product unit "Network
Control & Network Management" and shifts investment towards hardware
independent software development.

  - Expansion of product portfolio by adding Software to control and manage
    telecommunication networks

  - Operational options for dedicated and cloud-based environment

  - Integration of ALBIS Technologies as planned

Today, UET United Electronic Technology AG (ISIN: DE000A0LBKW6), Eschborn,
announces the expansion of the product portfolio in the business area
SYSTEMS. In addition to the existing product units that consist of products
based on hardware with embedded software UET will now also offer
hardware-independent software products. Consequently, the investments in
software related development to the existing network management system
"MetroIntegrator" within the existing R&D spending have been extended.
"MetroIntegrator" has been developed by ALBIS Technologies. The product
range will gradually be expanded to become a full portfolio targeting
application for dynamic, real-time control of telecommunication networks.
The competence center for the new unit "Network Control and Network
Management" is located in Zurich.

The product portfolio for the expansion and optimization of telecom
infrastructure, consisting of hardware and software for copper and fiber,
will be more focused on special applications for the migration to Internet
based (Rem: ALL-IP) networks and remote powering systems.

In the area of hardware the challenges on sales and costs have and will be
increased. This trend already affects the ongoing business in 2015. The
portfolio and investment focus with dedicated investments makes it possible
to increase revenues and margins sustainably, while simultaneously reducing
the dependence on hardware products in highly competitive markets. The
first releases of new products are already available on the market. Current
projects in Brazil, Mexico, Italy and Austria are well advanced.
Market activities are focused on Europe, Latin America and the Middle East
region.

Within the business unit SYSTEMS, that will operate under the new brand
albis-elcon, the integration of company ALBIS is on target and as planned.
An important milestone has already been reached. The first products were
manufactured in Germany since end of October 2015. The positive profit
contribution as a result of the production relocation will become full
effective in the financial year 2016.

Detailed results of the UET business units for the third quarter of the
2015 fiscal year are shown in the report of the operational financial
results for the third quarter. The report will be published by 7 December
2015 respectively.
