Agency Partners With Leading CMO to Bring Strategic Marketing Insights to Eastwick's High Growth Clients
SAN FRANCISCO, CA and NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Dec 15, 2015) - Eastwick, an award-winning tech-focused communications agency, today announced that marketing executive Phyllis Grove will partner with the company to offer her marketing expertise to Eastwick clients via the CMO-in-Residence (CIR) program.
Grove brings more than 20 years of global marketing experience across a variety of consumer electronic, CPG and lifestyle brands, including Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream, Kensington, Mountain Hardwear, Procter & Gamble and SOL REPUBLIC. She has hands-on experience driving growth and developing high performing teams for mid-market companies and startups and is a proven expert in omni-channel marketing and e-commerce strategies. Currently Grove is a CMO at Chief Outsiders, an "executive-as-a-service" firm where she helps companies build their brand by developing integrated strategies and implementing results-oriented marketing tactics that fulfill customer needs and boost sales.
As the next CIR, Grove will advise Eastwick clients and employees on strategic marketing, planning and challenges facing high growth companies, including brand messaging, digital marketing strategy, customer acquisition and retention and marketing technology investments.
"Phyllis's expertise in integrated marketing and history working with high growth companies makes her a perfect fit for Eastwick's CMO-in-residence program. She goes beyond tactics and understands what it takes to transform emerging companies into global brands," said Heather Kernahan, president of Eastwick. "Most of all, her holistic approach to marketing reflects Eastwick's commitment to balancing both art and science in the work that we deliver to our clients."
"Eastwick takes a proactive approach to understanding and providing the resources necessary to help its clients overcome the modern day challenges of the CMO. This is truly a distinguishing factor for a communications agency, and the reason why I'm joining the CMO-in-residence program," said Grove. "During my time as resident CMO, I look forward to challenging the team to drive greater value for all clients and bring more depth to integrated marketing strategies."
Eastwick's CIR program launched in May 2014 and introduced Chris Hummel as the first CMO-in-residence. The CIR is an ongoing program that provides Eastwick clients with access to c-level strategic marketing counsel that provide their expertise to high-growth B2B and B2C tech companies. CIR is a foundational pillar to Eastwick's #CMO2020 campaign, a commitment to bringing the latest research, insights and ideas to clients and employees through industry events, research and educational series. As part of this initiative, the CIR program helps Eastwick partner with today's marketing leaders and c-level executives to understand and leverage strategies that are fundamentally changing marketing and customer engagement.
