CHARLOTTE, NC--(Marketwired - December 16, 2015) - Velocity Technology Solutions Inc., a global leader in enterprise and business application cloud services, announced completion and go-live for a new SAP ERP system for Heptagon Micro Optics, Pte, Ltd., a provider of intelligent micro imaging, sensing and light systems for smart devices headquartered in Singapore. The SAP system enhances the efficiency for a number of business functions including finance, production planning, material management, and sales.
As an authorized reseller in Singapore, Velocity sold and implemented SAP ERP Central Component (ECC) software package, including automating the interfaces between Heptagon's Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and SAP for data to flow seamlessly between the two systems. Velocity was responsible for the entire project and cloud hosting implementation including business blueprint workshop, system configuration, training, user acceptance testing, and data migration from Heptagon's SAP Business One system to SAP R3 ECC 6.0 EHP7 system. The contract includes ongoing cloud hosting and application management.
