Cramo acquires MDS Raumsysteme’s modular space fleet in Germany

Vantaa, Finland, 2015-12-23 08:15 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cramo continues to strengthen its position in the German modular space market by acquiring the modular space fleet of MDS Raumsysteme GmbH (“MDS”). MDS is one of the players in the modular space market in southwest Germany and it has a strong position in the industry segment. The fleet complements Cramo’s current offering in the German market and it will be integrated into the fleet of C/S RaumCenter GmbH, the German subsidiary of Cramo Group.

The rental fleet of MDS consists of a total of 179 modular space units of which 92 per cent are currently on rent. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The transaction increases Cramo’s sales about EUR 0.4 million on a yearly basis.

“The transaction strengthens our position particularly in the industry segment in Germany. The modular space fleet purchased is also fully compatible with our current fleet in Germany, so the new fleet can be used together with our existing fleet”, comments Mr Petri Moksén, SVP, Cramo Adapteo.
