Six Associa Community Management Corporation Employees Earn the Industry's Highest Designation

CHANTILLY, Va., Jan. 14, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Associa Community Management Corporation (CMC) spearheaded a 2015 initiative to increase the number of PCAMs on staff and apparently the efforts paid off as an astounding half dozen employees earned the coveted distinction last year.

The PCAM (Profession Community Association Manager) designation is the highest national Community Associations Institute (CAI) recognition available to managers who specialize in community association management. To earn the PCAM designation, one must have five years of direct community management experience, maintain their CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) designation and pass all six of CAI's M-200 level professional management development programs which cover community communications, leadership and governance as well as financial and facilities management.

"This designation requires years of experience along with endless hours of dedication to the industry and I am truly amazed that this many people accomplished this feat in the past year at one company," says President of Associa CMC Nick Mazzarella. "Associa CMC now has a total of 15 PCAMs on staff and will be giving this initiative the same focus in 2016."

Associa CMC employees who earned PCAMs in 2015 include:

Jill Allen – Community Manager
Donna Aker – Community Manager
Vann Chounramany – Community Manager
Craig Magargel – Community Manager
Mac Staples – Vice President, Maryland Office
Bernie Guthrie – HOA Division Director
