“LSC Shipmanagement” receives three new ships under its management


Riga, 2016-01-27 07:53 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- In the first half of this year, JSC “Latvijas kugnieciba” subsidiary “LSC Shipmanagement” Ltd (LSCSM) will add three newly built oil and chemical tankers under technical management. The first of the three ships was received on January 11 – the 183 meters long tanker “Elandra Spruce”. The next addition to the fleet is expected in April – the tanker “Elandra Palm”, and in May “Elandra Oak” will be added to the fleet.

“Elandra Spruce” is the first of three new ships produced by the South Korean based shipbuilding company “SSP SHIPBUILDING”. The tanker is to be used for transportation of oil and chemical products. Its total length is 183 meters and its deadweight is 50’300 tons.
