Nuuk, 2016-02-01 12:53 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Board of Directors of NunaMinerals A/S under suspension of payments ("NunaMinerals" or the "Company") announces the engagement of Ross Iannello as the new CEO of NunaMinerals as of 1 February. Mr. Iannello is replacing Ole Christiansen as previously announced (announcement 07/2015 dated 5 February 2015). Ole Christiansen has been the CEO of the Company since 1999.
Mr. Iannello has over 30 years’ experience in large matrix organisations across Telecommunications, Banking & Finance, Personal Insurance, and mining. He is degree qualified, holding a Bachelor of Economics and a Masters of Business in Marketing.
In parallel, David Winduss, who is a member of the Board of Directors, assume the role as CFO of the company until a new CFO is found.
Mr. Winduss career spans more than 25 years. Mr Winduss has been actively involved in public and private company acquisitions, arranging financing, and carrying out commercial negotiations. He has extensive knowledge of financial control and corporate governance in public companies. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
The Board of Directors has been re-constituted whereby Allan Biggar, has been replaced by Chris Williams as the Chairman of the Board.
Mr. Williams has more than 18 years of experience in senior and executive management. He has substantial experience in the entertainment, LED & display technology, research & development, security, advertising and media industries and mining.
