SC Klaipedos Nafta preliminary transhipment and revenue results for the January 2016


During January 2016 SC Klaipedos Nafta (hereinafter – “the Company”) reloaded 790 thousand tons of petroleum products into its storage tanks of Klaipeda oil terminal and Subacius fuel base (SFB), i.e. grater by 25.4 percent compared to January 2015, when 630 thousand tons were reloaded. The main reason for transhipment increase is the larger volume of petroleum products delivered by SC ORLEN Lietuva and Company’s ability to handle with the increased volume of petroleum products effectively.

In the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Terminal of the Company 1.071 thousand MWh of the natural gas were re-gasified and supplied to the natural gas transmission system during January 2016, i.e. grater by 112.1 percent compared to January 2015, when 505 thousand MWh of the natural gas were re-gasified. This monthly regasification volume was the highest for the entire period of operation of the LNG terminal.

The preliminary sales revenues of the Company’s LNG Terminal for January 2016 comprise EUR 5.9 million which is equal to the one twelfth of the liquefaction revenues approved by the National Commission for Energy Control and Prices for the year 2016.

The preliminary sales revenues for January 2016 of SC Klaipedos Nafta oil terminal and SFB comprise EUR 4.8 million and are greater by 29.7 percent compared to the same period of 2015 (EUR 3.7 million).
