msg life publishes preliminary figures for 2015
Turnover and operating result in line with expectations - 2016 target
figures: turnover of between 110 and 112 million euros and EBITDA in the
range of 10.0 and 12.0 million euros
(Leinfelden-Echterdingen, 5 February 2016) - msg life ag (ISIN
DE0005130108) is releasing preliminary figures for the last financial year,
2015. According to its figures, the company generated total turnover of
approximately 108 million euros (2014: 104.3 million euros) and earnings
before interest, taxes, depreciation of tangible assets and amortisation of
intangible assets (EBITDA) of around 8.4 million euros (2014: 11.4 million
euros).
This EBITDA figure includes an extraordinary item of approximately 800,000
euros from the sale of the company's subsidiary msg life metris gmbh.
Adjusted for this extraordinary item, the operating EBITDA totals
approximately 7.6 million euros. The company's turnover and operating
result are therefore both in line with the forecast figures. All these
figures are preliminary and have yet to be verified by the auditors. The
definitive audited results for the 2015 financial year will be published in
detail in the consolidated financial statements on 26 April 2016.
The good development in recent months shows that the company has achieved
an economic turnaround. This is also reflected positively in the target
figures for the current financial year, 2016: the company is anticipating a
slight year-on-year increase in total turnover to between 110 and 112
million euros and EBITDA in the range of 10.0 and 12.0 million euros. The
increase in the profit forecast for 2016 (see ad hoc announcement dated 4
February 2016) is the result in particular of business with existing
customers remaining stable and a promising sales pipeline.
