Ambac to Add Up to Two New Independent Directors to Board


NEW YORK, March 14, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ambac Financial Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:AMBC) ("Ambac"), a holding company whose subsidiaries, including Ambac Assurance Corporation (“Ambac Assurance”) provide financial guarantees and other financial services, today announced its intention to add up to two new independent directors to Ambac’s board. The board is in discussions with several shareholders about the number and identities of the candidates.
