Total Eyecare Offers Scholarships to Outstanding High School Seniors

ELKO, Nev., March 27, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Qualified applicants have another resource to assist in the funding of selected college or graduation programs, reports Total Eyecare. A $250.00 scholarship is awarded to exemplary candidates to help pay for tuition and expenses at a two or four-year college or university. The deadline for the Total Eyecare Scholarship Application is May 2, 2016. This scholarship supports those that are considering fields in medicine, mathematics or science and is available for students at the following high schools: Battle Mountain, Carlin, Elko, Eureka, Spring Creek and Wells. Application forms are available at high school Guidance offices, at Total Eyecare and on their website www.totaleye.net.

The Total Eyecare Scholarship is offered to high school seniors with plans to further their education. Preference is given to students planning to major in medical, science or math fields. A student from each stated high school will be awarded a scholarship of $250.00, making for the potential of a total of six winners of the Total Eyecare Scholarship. Award recipients show note that the scholarship money will be paid to the winner’s desired school upon confirmation of fall semester enrollment. The student’s academic record should support their high likelihood of success within a chosen school. A short statement of 100 words or less, with a current transcript, and a completed application are required to apply and winners will be selected by a chosen committee.
