Students from Top Universities to Compete During Marketing Analytics Summit at Inmar Analytics Forum

Student teams from universities across the globe will compete in this year's Wake Forest University School of Business Marketing Analytics Summit.


WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., March 28, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - Student teams from universities across the globe will compete in this year's Wake Forest University School of Business Marketing Analytics Summit. The Marketing Analytics Summit, held in conjunction with the Inmar Analytics Forum, is a student-run competition that offers both graduate and undergraduate students the opportunity to apply their marketing skills and creativity to real-world business challenges. This is the 26th year for the competition, with teams competing for a prize purse of $50,000.

The cases on which the teams will compete integrate complex data sets similar to those seen in number of industries and positions. This year, eight graduate teams and six undergraduate teams will complete.

Graduate teams come from: Brigham Young University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Michigan State University, Penn State, University of Missouri-Kansas City, University of Rochester, Wake Forest University School of Business and Washington University in St. Louis.

Undergraduate teams come from: Drexel University, Universidad Panamericana, Utah State, Wake Forest University School of Business and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Each team will compete in a semi-final round April 11 at Wake Forest University School of Business. Two teams from the graduate division will compete on the April 12 at the Inmar Analytics Forum, as will the undergraduate winning team.

The Inmar Analytics Forum is an annual event, held in Winston-Salem, NC, that brings together business professionals from the Promotion, Healthcare and Supply Chain industries to explore how data can be employed to drive conversion, create operational efficiencies and bring about improved business and patient outcomes.
