Cramo acquires logistics and telescopic handler company Kurottaja- ja Kuljetuspalvelu Parviainen Oy’s business
Cramo strengthens its logistics and telescopic handler services by acquiring Kurottaja- ja Kuljetuspalvelu Parviainen Oy’s (”Parviainen”) business which specialises in telehandler services. The transaction will be carried out as a business acquisition.
Established in 2004, Kurottaja- ja Kuljetuspalvelu Parviainen Oy is the largest private company in Finland providing telehandler services. Parviainen operates mainly in Southern Finland. The sales of the company were approximately EUR 3 million in 2015 and sales are expected to grow in 2016. The profitability of the company has been good. All 23 employees of Parviainen will be transferred to the service of Cramo as existing employees.
"Cramo started to offer worksite logistics services in Finland last year. We are currently strengthening our logistics services business and telescopic handler services are an important part of this offering and the service concept. We foresee this as a growing business area in which Cramo wants to be part of,” says Mr Tatu Hauhio, Managing Director of Cramo Finland.
Previously, Cramo has not had large telescopic handlers so the equipment gained through the acquisition will complement Cramo’s own service offering and support the logistics services. In the future, Cramo will also offer a service which includes renting a telehandler together with a driver.
The owner of Kurottaja- ja Kuljetuspalvelu Parviainen Oy Mr Juha Parviainen sees that transferring the business to Cramo will benefit the customers.
