In company announcement no. 14/2016 Topdanmark announced that the buy-back programme for 2016 was stopped temporarily as ordered by the DFSA.
The DFSA has approved resumption of Topdanmark’s buy-back for Q1 and Q2 2016 of DKK 600m. It is expected that the buy-back for Q1 and Q2 2016 of DKK 600m will be completed before the announcement of Topdanmark’s Interim Report for Q2 2016, on 16 August 2016. In future, Topdanmark will apply for DFSA approval of the buy-back on a quarterly basis.
At the present time, Topdanmark has bought back own shares at a value of DKK 53 of the 2016 buy-back programme of DKK 1,250m, which leaves a balance of DKK 1,197m of the buy-back programme. Topdanmark still intends to buy back own shares at a value of DKK 1,250m based on the assumed profits for 2016, cf. company announcement no. 10/2016.
