HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - Apr 6, 2016) - Nobilis Health Corp. (NYSE MKT: HLTH) (TSX: NHC) ("Nobilis" or the "Company") announced today that it has completed the conversion of its Dallas-based out of network ambulatory surgical center, Microsurgery Institute Dallas ("MSID"), into an in-network Hospital Outpatient Department ("HOPD") of a local hospital system. This model provides greater earning potential for Nobilis by allowing care to be provided to patients with in-network benefits, while not detracting from existing operations or volume at the Company's Plano Surgical Hospital. Nobilis will now have both in-network and out-of-network revenues in the Dallas-Fort Worth market.

"The completion of this joint venture is another step for Nobilis in its plan to add in-network contracts in each of its markets," said Harry Fleming, Nobilis' CEO. "We believe this joint venture will allow Nobilis to tap into in-network revenues from our sales and marketing efforts and to increase the scalability of our overall model, without sacrificing earning potential."

"Because our marketing programs deliver patients with in-network benefits, our addition of an in-network option means these cases are accretive to our Dallas market," said Kenneth Efird, COO and chief architect of this joint venture. "The HOPD has been providing hospital-level care in MSID's former location since the fall of 2015 and we have seen significant growth of our volume and revenues at this facility."
