PHILADELPHIA & ABU DHABI, UAE, April 13, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hill International (NYSE:HIL), the global leader in managing construction risk, announced today that its joint venture with EHAF Consulting Engineers has received a contract from Megaprojeler Insaat Turizm Sanayi Ve Ticaret Anonim Sirketi, an affiliate of Rixos Hotels, to provide design and construction supervision consultancy services in connection with a new five-star, 374-key Rixos Saadiyat Island Hotel located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The two-year contract has an estimated value to the joint venture of approximately AED 13.8 million ($3.8 million). Hill is a 65% partner in the joint venture.
Saadiyat Island is located off the coast of Abu Dhabi. It is a 27-square-kilometer (10.4-square-mile) island planned and created around an environmentally sensitive philosophy and low-density master plan. Saadiyat’s real estate developments have been built around natural beauty, cultural experiences, architectural design and business amenities. The main districts in the island are the Saadiyat Cultural District, the Saadiyat Beach District and the Saadiyat Marina District.
