New Survey Finds 79% of Employees Would Meet with a Certified Financial Planner Practitioner if Their Employer Paid For It

2016 Employee Financial Wellness Survey finds both male and female employees would meet with a CFP professional if their employer paid for it.


ST. LOUIS, Mo., April 19, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - Four Seasons Financial Education (FSFE) recently revealed their 2016 Employee Financial Wellness Survey. This year's survey included 554 full-time employees from around the US. The survey found that "access to one-on-one guidance from a professional" was the most popular choice of additional benefits to help employees with retirement goals (48% of respondents).

Additionally, employees were asked, "If you could receive personalized, confidential guidance from a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER practitioner and your employer paid for it, would you use it?" Among the 554 employees that completed the survey, 79% responded, "yes." Women were more likely to use such a benefit than men, with 82% of women versus 75% of men responding "yes."
