Pocket Games Signs New Partner to Viximo, Mobile Games Platform

‘Halos’ Launches in Thailand on Viximo

NEW YORK, April 21, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Pocket Games (OTC:PKGM), announced today that they have signed up their first partner for the Viximo Platform and launched the first Viximo enabled title into Thailand.

Kiz Studios, an independent videogame developer with offices in Atlanta, GA Charleston, SC, and Leamington, UK with a back catalogue of titles, has decided to test the Viximo platform by releasing their addictively simple and fast paced matching game, Halos, in Viximo’s first test market, Thailand.

Viximo connects game developers to sales channels in difficult to reach markets through its write once, deploy everywhere platform. Once onboarded to the Viximo platform, mobile games can be deployed across several stores worldwide, providing vastly expanded user reach to game developers in the West. The Viximo toolset also enables developers to increase user engagement and monetization as well as offering localization options. These markets account for over 70% of global app-store market spend annually.

“Reaching consumers through local market AppStores is a great way to bring in incremental revenue from a title and we are excited to see what Viximo can do for us in markets where we haven’t previously tapped into their potential,” said Craig Albeck, Director of Publishing, “and we were really excited to speak with the Viximo team at the recent Games Developers Conference and see for ourselves a robust analytics system that will really assist us in continuing to hone our monetization, not only in titles previously released but in new titles that we take to market.”

Viximo was founded in 2008 in Boston, Massachusetts and received venture capital funding from Northbridge Venture Partners and Sigma Partners. The company generates revenues by taking a percentage of in-app purchases of the titles it distributes as well as through in-game advertising and an increased revenue share model with ‘Premium Partners’ by offering value-ad services such as increased discovery and deep analytics.

The revenue model is a ‘revenue share’ deal with the Developer where, if a game were to net $500,000 in post-AppStore revenue, the developer would receive between $350,000 and $425,000 and Viximo would net between $75,000 and $150,000 depending on the type of deal signed between the parties.

“The interest at the Game Developer Conference in San Francisco last month was incredible and we are really excited to not only bring Halos to new markets as well as signing up new developers as they see the results we can achieve” said David Lovatt.
