PRA Group Names Deputy General Counsel


NORFOLK, Va., April 21, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PRA Group (Nasdaq:PRAA), a global leader in acquiring and collecting nonperforming loans, today announced that LaTisha Owens has been named deputy general counsel.

Owens has more than 18 years of legal experience as a corporate lawyer concentrating in the areas of federal securities law, corporate governance, and mergers and acquisitions. Before joining PRA, she served as managing associate general counsel for Anthem, Inc. and was vice president and senior counsel, corporate finance and governance for Amerigroup Corporation. She was previously a partner and senior counsel at McGuire Woods LLP, and served as special counsel, pro bono, for the Commonwealth of Virginia Division of Child Support Enforcement.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations from The College of William and Mary and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Texas School of Law.
