Boston’s Red Line train will have the new, scrumptious look through May 18. Additional Krakus imagery will be featured on the interior of the train car, as well as kiosks and digital signage throughout the city.

"This is a very innovative and exciting project for Krakus," said Michael J. Sargent, Senior Brand Manager, Krakus. "Boston’s Red Line train will be turning heads in Krakus colors and we can't wait to see it rolling through town. We encourage ham lovers to join in the fun by sharing their encounters on Twitter @KrakusHam."

Polish Fest Boston, in the city’s Polish Triangle, is an annual celebration of the rich history and contributions of Boston's Polish community. Krakus is the official sponsor of Polish Fest Boston 2016. The festival honors one of the most important holidays in Polish history, Polish Constitution Day, and this year marks the 225th anniversary of the adoption of the first democratic constitution in Europe.

To commemorate this historic day, Krakus will make a donation to the Polish American Congress of Eastern Massachusetts to help them rehabilitate Pulaski Park, where the festival is held. On May 1, Krakus will present local Polish American Congress representatives with an oversized check during a presentation at the festival. Attendees will also be treated to cooking demonstrations, sampling and giveaways.

Throughout April and May, select stores in the Boston area will also host Krakus cooking demonstrations and samplings to celebrate Polish Fest.

This is the second year for the Krakus “Ham Train” project. In 2015, Krakus supported the Taste of Polonia festival in Chicago, celebrating becoming the #1 deli ham in the city. Krakus donated $10,000 to the Copernicus Foundation, a non-profit organization serving Chicago since 1979.
