Reykjavík, 2016-05-03 10:32 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The auction of Orkuveita Reykjavíkur (OR; Reykjavík Energy) bonds took place on May 2, 2016. Offered were indexed annuity bonds for up to ISK 4,500 million in two new issues, 8 and 30 years. The offers amounted to ISK 3,180 million in both issues, with yields ranging from 3.14% to 3.70% for the shorter maturities OR090524 and the range of 3.15% to 3.49% in the longer bonds OR090546.
OR decided to accept bids worth ISK 1,038 million in total and issue bonds in OR090524 worth ISK 588 million with a yield of 3.30% and in OR090546 worth ISK 450 million at a yield of 3.20%.
It will be requested that the bonds would be admitted to trading on Nasdaq Iceland and the first trading day will be announced at least with one day in advance.
