Issue of supplementary Tier II capital in the amount of SEK 1bn

For the first time since 2006, Jyske Bank has on 12 May 2016 issued new supplementary Tier II capital (10 non-call 5) in the amount of SEK 1bn.

 

The issue is part of Jyske Bank's gradual adjustment of the capital structure to the announced objective of a Common Equity Tier 1 capital ratio of 14% and a capital ratio of 17.5%. 

 

Following the issue, Jyske Bank's hybrid core capital and Tier II Capital will total DKK 2.1bn, corresponding to 1.2% of the weighted risk exposure.

 

Two further capital-related measures were initiated in 2016 in the form of distribution of dividend in the amount of DKK 500m and an on-going share buy-back programme in the amount of DKK 750m expiring on 30 June 2016 at the latest.
