IT – Nasdaq Nordic Primary Data Center Relocation Project Update – INET – Last week for Mandatory Tests (28/16)

This IT Notice includes instructions for mandatory testing activities for ALL INET customers and service providers with connectivity to Nasdaq Nordic (incl. Nasdaq Iceland) and Nasdaq Baltic.

This is the last week available for Mandatory Login testing to INET Pre-Production in VASBY Data Center.

Mandatory testing is limited to login testing, preferably from customers production systems to INET Pre-Production. INET customers need to confirm their testing plans and test results by e-mail to technicalrelations@nasdaq.com a.s.a.p.

As previously communicated, Nasdaq will relocate its primary data center from the current LUNDA data center to the new VASBY data center. Furthermore a new INET (Cash Equity) system has been built at the new data center VASBY replacing the current INET system at LUNDA data center on June 20, 2016. The secondary/failover INET system at PORT data center will remain unchanged. This impacts all members and their service providers that directly connect to Nasdaq Equity markets. Customers destination IP addresses will change on the new primary site in VASBY (communicated via separate e-mail). All members have to, as of June 20, connect to new destination IP addresses at the new primary site to be able to trade and receive market data.

Between March 29 – May 22 the INET Pre-Production environment in VASBY is open for connectivity, login, failover (colo only) and functional testing according to the schedule below.

The login test is mandatory for all members and data vendors using INET OUCH, FIX, FIX DROP, ITCH TCP and GLIMPSE. ITCH Multicast customers shall confirm their readiness of joining the new ITCH MC feeds and re-request services provided from the new data center VASBY.

Source IP validation is enabled for INET, please make sure you have provided your new source IP’s to operator@nasdaq.com (if applicable).

More detailed information about INET Pre-Production tests, INET Production launch plans and the new INET Test (NTF) system is available at the Nasdaq Data Center Relocation/INET web site.
